Lagos State government reopened Worship centers.

The Lagoon state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu has approved the full reopening of worship center in the state. He announced this during a briefing in Lagos on Saturday. The governor said mosque can hold their prayer five times daily which church can also commenced weekly services. The governor had on Friday, August 7 allowed mosque and churches to commence their Friday and Sunday services only. He, However warned that the safety protocols released by government must strictly adhere to. "Muslims can now have their five times daily prayers in mosque, church can also begin mid-week service" the governor said. Worship centers in the state had been shut since March as part of measures to contain the spread of covid-19.
