26-years-old man kills father in Anambra state.
Mr Chisom Ogum have been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his father and burying him inside a shallow grave.
The twenty-six-years-old suspect allegedly ran amok in a circumstance yet to be ascertained, attacked and kills his own father, Christopher Ogum with a shovel and buried him in a shallow gravel
According to Police Public Relations Officers, Mr Haurna Muhammad, explained that the suspect attempted to escape before he was caught and beaten by angry mob who forced him to exhume the corpse of his father from where he buried him.
The victim Christopher Ogum, a seventy-years-old man who hails from Umuomaku Community of Orumba south local government area of Anambra State, was killed by his own biological son Chisom Ogum.
Police detectives who visited the scene of the crime, photographed the victim and took the remains to the mortuary for autopsy after he was certified dead by a medical doctor at the general hospital Umunze.
Mr John Abong, the commissioner of police in the state has order for the case to be transferred to the state criminal investigative department for discreet investigation.
