Boko Haram kill 8 in fresh raid in Borno.

Eight people were feared killed with two injured as Boko Haram raided Wasaram a remote community along on a border between Borno and Yobe states Tuesday night.

Eyewitness said the attacker stormed the town shortly after the Muslim night (isha) prayer.

"They came about 8:00pm, in vehicles around 30 of them. And they started shooting at people from the entrance of Wasaram village. Eight people were killed and two injured in the attack," said Ali Musa, who said he was force to flee to Damaturu, Yobe State some 12 kilometers away, after the attack.

It was learnt that the insurgent tricked some villagers in the entrance of the community to run for their lives as some people  were planning to attack them.
Ironically, the insurgent opened fire on the villagers as attempted  to flee.

Meanwhile, the information about the attacks was known in Maiduguri, the state capital, until yesterday, while the security agencies are yet to  react to the reported attack as at press time.

Wasaram is located some 32 kilometers to Benisherk a town along maiduguri-damaturu highway and headquarters of the Kaga Local Government.
