FOUR NIGERIAN ARRESSTED IN PHILIPHINE FOR ALLEGEDLY HACKING A BANK SYSTEM.
Four Nigerians have been arrested in Philippines for allege involvement in the hacking and diversion of fund from the Bank. ABS, CBN News report.
In a statement on Tuesday by the National Bureau of investigation Cyber crime division chief,vic Lorenzo it was alleged that four Nigerians vilolated the Access devices law, Anti cyber crime law and Falsification of public documents.
Four Nigerian have been arrested in Philippines for alleged involvement in the hacking and diversions of fund from the bank.Division chief Vic Lorenzo made a statement, stating that the four Nigerians violated the cyber crime law. The statement read" the fraudster -Nigerians transact were traced when the hack a system of one Philippines Bank, where at least P100 million peso were transferred and funnel into a different account.
However the Nigerians denied the allegations saying, "they were in Philippines to study and the know nothing about hacking incident,we are wrongly been accuse for what we no nothing about, we know that some Nigerian are nothing hacking system but we are innocent and we ask our government to intervene on our behalf.President Buhari has condemn the arrested and ask for the immediate release of the Nigerians held.
