A truck carrying sand plunged into Epe river in Lagos State on Friday night, September 25. In a statement released today september 26, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said, "the Agency recieved a late last night accident  involving a Volvo Tipper that fell off the Berger bridge into Epe river in Lagos State  Upon arrival at the scene of incident, it was discovered that a six tyre truck converging sand plunged into Epe river.  Scores of persons have been declared missing after the truck plunged into Epe river.  As at time of writing this report the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, have concluded their  rescue effort and have confirmed two death in the incident.  They two male bodies have been taken to the mortuary.  wanted: a notorious killer have been declared wanted by police

26-years-old man kills father in Anambra state.

Boko Haram kill 8 in fresh raid in Borno.

Eight people were feared killed with two injured as Boko Haram raided Wasaram a remote community along on a border between Borno and Yobe states Tuesday night. Eyewitness said the attacker stormed the town shortly after the Muslim night (isha) prayer.  "They came about 8:00pm, in vehicles around 30 of them. And they started shooting at people from the entrance of Wasaram village. Eight people were killed and two injured in the attack," said Ali Musa, who said he was force to flee to Damaturu, Yobe State some 12 kilometers away, after the attack. It was learnt that the insurgent tricked some villagers in the entrance of the community to run for their lives as some people  were planning to attack them. Mustapa gave the advice, during Monday PTF  media briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja.  Expressing displeasure over Nigerians moving about without face mask, Boss Mustapa said that religious leaders and traditional have alot to do to curb the spread of the disease.  According to him, the Best Nigerians can do is to adhere to the non-pharmaceutical intervention which includes wearing face mask, observing social distancing and stay away from large crowd. A 17-years-old have been arrested he reportedly sexually assaulted two little sisters in Bauchi. Both girls are aged 7 and 5 respectively. The 17 years old boy identify  as Daniel James has been arrested by the Bauchi State police command for allegedly defiling 7 and 5-years-old sisters.  The police spokesperson, DSP Mohammed Ahmed Wakil, who made the disclosure in a statement on Saturday, September, 19, said that the suspected was arrested after the victims parents reported at the 'D' Division Bauchi.  The statement reads: "on the 17/09/2020 at about 1809hrs, one Hannatu Sadiq 'F' aged 35yrs of Nassarawa jahun Bauchi and Hajara Abdullahi 'F' aged 25yrs of the same address, 'jointly came to 'D' Division Bauchi and reported that on the same date at about 1600hrs one Daniel James 's' aged 17yrs of the same address. 25 years old man drowned while Bathing in a River in Kano state.

Tragedy occurred in Kano as 25 years old man drowned while he was bathing in a River at Zangon Buhari in Bunkere Local Government Area Kano State.  According to news, the incident happened today been 15, September as the Kano state fire services spokesperson known as Saidu Mohammed said as they received a distress call from Zangon Buhari in Bunkere Local government through, Malam Muhammad Mai Anguwe.  Immediately the sent a rescue team with equipment to the scene of the incident and discovered it was a man of 25 years drowned into the river, immediately the victim was put out of unconscious and dead.  The corpse was handed over to ward head of Zangon Buhari on behalf of the family.

8 burnt to death in Lagos-Ibadan expressway accident

Eight people were burnt to death in an accident on the Lagos-ibadan expressway.  The lone accident involved a Mazda bus marked AAA 249 VX occurred on Saturday night, September 19, at about 8:45pm, near seapade bridge.  The accident  was a result of a burst tyre that cause the car to somersaults and burst into flames.  "People were involved in the accident. They are three male adults, one female adult, one child and six unidentified person.  8 died while 3 were injured and rushed to Idera Hospital, Sagamu, for medical attention. A 72-years old man in Osogbo, Osun State was caught having sex with 2 primary school  children in his room.  According to eye witness, those  2 children and others has been visiting this old man constantly for months and people in the neighborhood thought maybe they are his relatives or grand children.  Their visit became suspicious because during school hours when those children are supposed to be in school. They sneak out just to visit this old man who always  lock them inside all they time. Suspected Fulani militia has killed 60-years-old widow,  a mother of 6 children and a 56-years-old man in Manyi  Mashin  Village,  Zamandabo ward,  in  Atyap  Chiefdom, Zangon  Kataf Local government  of kaduna  state.  This is contained in a statement issued by National Publicity Officers, Southern Kaduna People Union,  SOKAPU, Luka Binniyat. The Kano state fire services has rescued ten person trapped in a collapse building at Gwammja' yan kosa' in Dala Local Government  Area. Malamute Said Muhammad, spokesman for the services, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday in Kano.  "We recieved a distress call at 1:30am on Tuesday from one Malam Abdullahi Muhammad.  " On receiving  the information, we quickly sent our rescue  team to the scene at about 1:37am. NAPTIP: rescue 135 victims arrests, 86 suspected human traffickers in Kano. h

The National Agency for the Prohibition of trafficking in person (NAPTIP), has said that it rescues135 Victims and arrested 86 suspected human traffickers in Kano state from January to till date.  Mr Shehu Umar, commander in charge of NAPTIP in Kano zone, made this disclosure in an interview with newsmen on Tuesday in Kano. Umar said that the rescued 135 victims comprised of 23 males and 112 females.  He further explained that the command rescued 86 cases which involves 22 external and internal human trafficking, 28 Child Abuse cases, 5 child labor cases, four sexual abuse cases, and 6 rape cases.  The zonal commander said 21 of the cases were transferred to other relevant security agencies.  Out of 86 suspects arrested,44 were females and 42 were male.   "on receiving information, the ongoing conducted operation from  Jan to Sept 11 which led to the arrest of suspects and rescuing of the victims," He said. Nigeria Soldier committe Suicide, and leave note for his wife.

A serving soldiers of nigeria Army Victor Oipkor Ojeamrin has reportedly committed suicide at his duty post in Buni Gari, Yobe State, where he was fighting terrorism leaving a note behind for his wife.  Victor,  who was said to be a lancer corporal in the Nigeria Army,  was said to have shot himself on the head with riffle and bled to death.  Report have it that Victor Oipkor Ojeamirns body has since been evacuated by his colleagues on investigation into circumstances leading to the incident.  The Nigeria Army has however, not given an official statement on the situation on any of their social media page.  Lagos statement government reopened worship centers.
